Other activites: various knowledgeable speakers, Spring and Summer show, coach trips to nurseries and spectaxcular gardens, yearly plant sale and seed exchange. Meeting every third Monday of the month at 7.15pm at the Bethesda Chapel meeting rooms (off New Street) by the entrance to Somerfield car park. Mold Town Concert Band Mold town concert band is a group of over 30 friendly musicians playing a variety of wind instruments. Age range from 11 to 80 at present and everyone is welcome who would wish to make beautiful music. Their repertoire ranges from serene to swing, concert marches, contemporary, popular, classical, jazz and big band arrangments. The emphasis is on performing a wide range of music whilst having fun. Rehearsals take place on monday evenings in Mold Town Hall between 7:15 and 9:15pm. All welcome and if interested in joining the band or requesting their services for an engagement, please contact either Musical Director Geoff Coward on 01745584054 or Hon. Further information also available via www.moldtownband.org.uk Blooming Mold competition Blooming Mold is the annual competition that attracts support from residents and businesses within Mold. It is organised during the summer by Mold Town Council to help make Mold more colourful and attractive through flowers and plants in gardens and business premises. Mold Town Council is offering prizes to residents or businesses in the town as winners of the following categories.
The Judges will award one further prize to any resident or business in Mold who provides a display that shows initiative or adds attractiveness of the area.
